Train operator Stansted Express has introduced a new Business Plus ticket for the service between Liverpool Street station in London and the Essex airport.
The new ticket, which is priced between its existing standard and first class fares, offers seating in the first class carriage and also includes onboard tea or coffee, wifi and magazine or newspaper.
But unlike first class tickets, this fare does not include access to the No 1 Traveller lounge at Stansted or a fast-track airport security pass.
Business Plus is priced at £39.90 for a return trip which is 26 per cent lower than fares for a open first class ticket. It is also available as an e-ticket or mobile ticket.
Eleni Jordan, head of sales for Stansted Express said: “Business Plus offers a new and cost-effective option for the business user making the journey to the airport more comfortable and productive.”
