Global car hire company, National Car Rental, has introduced a worldwide booking facility on its UK website, allowing customers to book and pre-pay for their rental car before their journey.
Visitors can search for information on the fleet at each of the company”s 3,800 offices worldwide and book via a secure online payment system, either in the local currency or GBP, eliminating credit card charges associated with overseas payments.
Local driving information is also available on the website via a link to National”s Drive Safe site, which includes tips on driving rules and regulations in 40 countries.
”The new pre-pay system allows us to help travellers enjoy a stress free journey,” said leisure marketing director, Sally Hinds. ”Now our customers have the choice to pay locally or in GBP before they leave home, making it easier than ever to budget.
”In addition, the added link to our unique Drive Safe website means we can provide customers with local driving information on a global scale. These enhancements, combined with a more user friendly booking process, give customers greater control and greater choice over their rental experience.”
