Ground transport specialist Jyrney has launched a new mobile solution to complement its ‘pioneering’ mobility platform.
The company, which triumphed at Business Travel Show Europe’s Innovation Faceoff last year, says its mobile solution will enable TMCs, travel tech companies and corporates to better integrate last-mile mobility solutions.
The mobile offering can be utilised as a standalone offering by corporates or integrated within TMCs’ own bookings apps, with bookings data fed to mid/backoffices, global distribution systems and risk management software.
Jyrney’s content includes both pre-booked and on-demand taxis, ride-hail options and chauffeur services, while functionality includes the reallocation of bookings to alternative ride providers in the event of delays and disruption. It has coverage in over 70 countries through its relationships with global partners
“Our new mobile solution places the booking power directly into the hands of travellers. By integrating with travel tech platforms, we empower travel buyers and TMCs with complete visibility over location, costs, and carbon emissions,” says CEO and co-founder, Daniel Price.
“This is the ground transport software the travel industry has been eagerly awaiting. Ground transport has long existed on the periphery of the travel ecosystem because it was too difficult for the travel manager and TMC to manage such a fragmented supply chain.”
Price said the company has worked with a number of TMCs and travel tech companies on the development of the solution, with customer announcements coming soon.
Launched in 2022, the company is already providing its mobility platform to the likes of travel management company TakeTwo via a partnership with travel tech provider TripStax.
