Limos4, a chauffeur provider headquartered in Zurich, is set to expand its operations in Germany after local player United Limousines AG entered insolvency proceedings earlier this month.
The company, which has operations in more than 70 countries, announced the launch of Limos4 Germany GmbH this week after acquiring “operational assets” from the insolvency estate of United Limousines AG, proceedings for which began on 1 December.
Limos4 CEO Vojkan Tasic said “this is not a cold start” as the two companies had previously formed a partnership in 2024 that saw Limos4 share its proprietary software and extend reservations support to United Limousines.
“Limos4 has already been deeply involved behind the scenes in dispatch, reservations, and ride execution. We know the expectations because we’ve been helping deliver to them,” Tasic said in a LinkedIn post.
In a statement, the company said it acquired “key operational assets and communication channels” from United Limousines’ insolvency estate – underlining that it has not assumed the latter’s corporate identity, legal obligations or contractual commitments.
“Limos4 Germany GmbH is a completely new, independent legal entity. We are free from the liabilities of the past, allowing us to focus 100 per cent on delivering perfect service for your future journeys,” the company said.
Tasic added that company is now focused on providing “uninterrupted" services to clients in Germany while it builds “a stable path forward” with Limos4 Germany GmbH.
