HEATHROW EXPRESS passengers can expect airport-style screening and searches before they even step onto the train in the new year. A four-week trial at London”s Paddington Station will take place to test detection equipment. Customers will be invited to take part, although the police can stop and search anyone who arousing suspicion. Trials are also expected at other train and Underground stations.
