A Eurostar route starting December 14 takes passengers from London St Pancras to Brussels via Ashford.
Eurostar announced yesterday an 11th service will run Monday to Friday daily from London to Brussels from December 14.
The service is being introduced to meet demand ” there”s been a 30 per cent rise in passengers since the introduction of the high speed service at St Pancras International station on November 14 last year.
The new service will depart London”s St Pancras at 1104 and arrive in Brussels at 1403. In the opposite direction, the train will leave Brussels at 1259 and arrive in London at 1403. Both journeys take one hour and 51 minutes.
Via Ashford
The new route means Eurostar will also be able to re-introduce a direct Ashford-Brussels service also from December 14, 2008.

The new route means business travellers leaving the UK will arrive in Brussels before 0900, and those coming from Brussels will arrive back there on Sunday evening. Times are still to be confirmed by Network Rail, but see below for the expected timetable from London to Brussels and Ashford to Brussels.
