France-based online booking tool Goelett is to expand its European rail content through a new partnership with Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS).
Goelett, which is part of the CDS Groupe, specialises in creating travel management solutions for European travel management companies (TMCs) and corporations.
The new deal with Trainline’s B2B arm will allow Goelett to provide users with pan-European rail content via the Platform One booking portal, which was launched by Trainline earlier this year.
Liz Emmott, global distribution director at Trainline Partner Solutions, said: “Through Platform One, we will enable Goelett’s customers to benefit from seamless and simple access to rail content across Europe, and we look forward to the opportunity to expand these benefits to more travellers across the continent in the future.”
Business travellers will be able to search and book rail travel with multiple operators in a single transaction. The partnership will also include an online after-sales service for travellers, including the ability to self-serve ticket changes and refunds through Goelett’s booking tool.
Pierre Mesnage, CEO of Goelett, added: “Trainline Partner Solutions offers unique technology that helps facilitate the customer experience, before, during and after the journey.”
