FIRST CHOICE AIRWAYS, the former Air 2000, has established a car park check-in via its First4extras subsidiary. From summer 2005 holidaymakers flying on the airline at Gatwick Airport will be able to check in with their luggage at the NCP Flightpath Long Stay North Terminal car park. Passengers will simply park in Zone W of the car park and proceed to the check-in reception building with their luggage, passports and tickets, where formalities will take place. They will then be able to catch the first available transfer bus from stop 5, over to the North Terminal building and proceed directly to passport control and through to departures. It will be interesting to see how quickly this idea catches on.
