For the sixth year running, Eurostar is to operate direct services to Avignon (France) over the summer months. Services will run every Saturday from London and Ashford from 7 July to 8 September, with a journey time of six hours. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 10 January.
Eurostar director of communications Simon Montague said: ”It is a spectacular train journey through the heart of France and a much more environmentally friendly form of travelling than flying, so travellers can sit back and relax on the greener way to go short-haul to Provence.”
