Eurostar has been forced to cancel train services to Brussels due to a national strike in Belgium on Wednesday (April 22).
The rail operator said that the strike means it will only be able to operate a reduced timetable between London and Lille on April 22, with no services to Brussels Midi throughout the day.
“If you are booked to travel between London St Pancras and Lille Europe on one of these cancelled trains we have automatically reaccommodated you on to the next available train,” said Eurostar in a statement to passengers.
“If this is acceptable to you, please go to the manual check-in at least 60 minutes before the new train departure time, where we will issue you with your new coach and seat details.”
The strike has also caused Eurostar to make changes to its last two scheduled trains from St Pancras to Brussels on April 21.
