Car
rental firm Europcar has launched three new monthly subscription plans as an alternative to leasing and ownership.
SuperFlex
offers plans starting from one month in length with no ongoing commitment. Flex
plans start from three months in length but offer lower rates.
The
DuoFlex plan gives companies access to a mix of different vehicles, offering an alternative vehicle for two periods of two days every month. This means
companies can use an electric vehicle for urban trips for most of the month and then switch to a
traditional vehicle for occasional longer trips, for example.
A
wide choice of vehicles and a variety of mileage options are available with
each plan and maintenance, insurance and tyres are included in the fixed
monthly price.
José
Blanco, Europcar’s group sales director, said: “We believe that the flexibility
offered by subscription is a key to success and will be a must-have in the
new normal. Our new offers give businesses the opportunity to pick-up cars
or vans when they need, for as long as they want, in a fully flexible manner.
And thanks to this, businesses have optimal control over their costs and can
adapt quickly to new situations, increasing or downsizing their fleet based on
their activity level.”
