Enterprise Rent-A-Car will open its largest UK site in Leeds next summer and is making much of the new location’s sustainability credentials.
The car rental company said the new location, next to an existing site in the Sheepscar area of the Yorkshire city, would open in summer 2021 and cover 42,688 square feet, allowing it to increase the range and number of vehicles on offer.
The site will offer electric vehicle charging points as well as providing shared Enterprise Car Club vehicles. A new car washing system will include the latest water recycling technology to reduce water usage.
The new branch will create 12 new jobs, the company said.
Peter Cummins, group facilities and construction manager at Enterprise, said: “We are excited to announce our new flagship branch in Leeds. The first of its kind, the branch will be a key location for vehicle rental in the region, creating new job opportunities."
