CarTrawler has signed a three year partnership agreement for global car rental with South African travel agent The Club Travel Group.
CarTrawler”s first project in Africa will go live on the agent”s website in March and supply real-time connections to more than 450 car rental suppliers in 134 countries around the world.
”The Club Travel Group is a major travel company and a critical player in Africa,” said CarTrawler CEO, Greg Turley. ”This agreement puts us at the vanguard of a key growth market for travel, and will enable us to once again demonstrate the flexibility of our technology and the real revenues that can be gained by making car rental an obvious choice in the booking process.”
The three-year deal will also confirm CarTrawler as a preferred partner to The Club Group”s traditional business which comprises 20 Club Travel offices, 64 non-branded IATA Travel Agencies and more than 80 independent travel consultants.
”We view CarTrawler as the world”s leading car rental distribution system,” said The Club Travel Group managing director, Wally Gaynor. ”We were looking to partner with the best and believe we found this with in CarTrawler.
