Managed transport and accommodation solution provider CMAC Group has acquired managed taxi, bus and coach hire specialist Cabline.
Nottinghamshire-based Cabline was established in 2004 and employs around 50 specialist staff with a turnover of £10 million a year.
CMAC Group says the acquisition is complementary to its current operation and will strengthen its ground transport offering. It adds to its existing UK network of private hire, executive and accessible vehicles, buses and coaches.
Established in 2007, CMAC Group provides a range of time-critical and emergency transport products and moves more than a million passengers each year. It also provides integrated accommodation solutions. Its more than 150 employees are based in offices across the North West of England, as well as the group’s first European operation in Athens, Greece.
CEO Steve Turner said: “The acquisition of Cabline adds yet more expertise and expands the reach and diversity of our existing supply chain, offering greater choice, availability and increased flexibility to our combined customer base.”
Last year, CMAC Group acquired managed taxi specialist Cabfind, forming the largest network of corporate ground transportation solutions in the UK.
CMAC Group was advised on the deal by Seneca Corporate Finance, Napthens (legal) and RSM (tax). Cabline was advised by Mitten Clarke (corporate finance) and Knights (legal).
