Below is a list of announcements from a number of companies exhibiting at next week’s event.
Aer Lingus: New Business Class cabin and product connectivity between the UK to USA via Dublin. New Transatlantic destinations in 2016 - Los Angeles, Hartford, Newark.
AirPortr: Europe’s first same day airport luggage delivery service. Operating to and from London airports and any London address. AirPortr is now available at Heathrow (T5, T3 and T2 with T4 arriving March 14th) Gatwick and London City Airport. The AirPortr ‘Carousel Collection’ service, in partnership with British Airways at London City Airport, has also been extended past its initial trial period and is fully operational for all domestic BA flights to LCY.
Bmi Regional: Launching Southampton to Munich 12 times a week from 15th April.
City Fleet Networks: A brand refresh, new website, app and and online booking tool providing 24-hour access to corporate vehicles.
Click Travel: Travel Cloud 4, the forthcoming evolution of Click Travel’s existing tool that will make travel management easier and quicker, with greater choice and improved reporting.
Club Class Chauffers: Launching new online instant quoting tool and web-booker. These new tools sit perfectly alongside the Club Class app, which also allows for real time vehicle tracking.
Diners Club: VCN 2.0 solution – virtual cards - bespoke management information, reconciliation, spending authorities and fraud protection can all be guaranteed before a payment is even made.
Drum Cussac: Travel Prepare, an e-learning course to provide employees with the knowledge they need to travel globally, avoid risks and return home safely.
Egencia: Egencia announces the results of its second annual Global Business and Travel Technology Survey at the show.
eGoVisa Services: VisaPort software - a cloud-based solution for foreign ministries enabling them to redefine the way they manage their outposts and their visa process.
Frasers Hospitality: In 2016 Frasers will open in Berlin and a first move into Africa in Abuja, Nigeria will be completed this year. In addition, the company’s Middle East portfolio will expand in Doha, Dubai and Bahrain, with Riyadh also to follow in 2016
GroundScope: Ride Share service mobile booking app with integration into Sabre and Travelport GDS
La Compagnie: La Compagnie marks its first attendance at the show with special London to New York business trip offers from just £850 – ends 29 February.
London City Airport: Showcasing plans for the new £16m Western Pier which is due for completion by autumn 2016.
Loungebuddy: Partnering with Tripit from Concur to launch new app. Users will have access to information on over 2,500 airport lounges around the world, as well as the ability to book instant access to over 100 lounges worldwide. LoungeBuddy is also launching the ability for TripIt users to sync their TripIt itineraries over to the LoungeBuddy App on iPhone. With this option, LoungeBuddy will be able to suggest the best lounge options instantly based on your trip itinerary.
Nectar Furnished Apartments: Launching ‘Nectar Alliance Partnership’: a network of businesses pledging best-in-class service and pricing for guests and clients the Nectar Alliance Partnership (NAP) is a global network of businesses that pledge to provide their shared pool of guests and clients with best-in-class service and pricing.
Plaza Premium Group:
Portman Travel: Portman’s new, tailor made traveller tracking tool ‘SafeTrack’. SafeTrack, is a unique, tiered suite of traveller tracking options with the initial entry level free to all Portman clients. The SafeTrack suite includes a range of features depending on business needs - from search and locate functionality to full GPS check-in tracking and rich iJet risk management content, supported by Portman’s traveller alerts, the Portman App and pre-trip reporting technology
Qatar Airways: New services from Birmingham from 30th March 2016. Launching services to Sydney and Adelaide on March 1st & May 2nd.
Roomex: Launching new branding.
Solace Global: Launching the INtrinsic programme, which aims to ensure that companies with employees overseas are able to prepare for the unexpected, to keep staff safe and to recover cost quickly after an emergency abroad. The product of a strategic partnership between CEGA, the global medical assistance and risk management providers, and Solace Global, the security specialists.
Vietnam Airlines: New Dreamliner B787-9, rising to daily flights from UK to Hanoi or Saigon from Summer 2016.
