Bolt has signed a partnership with transport company
CMAC Group who will provide ground transportation to users of Bolt's app and ride-hailing services in 300 cities across Europe and Africa.
CMAC Group is a provider of managed ground
transport and accommodation solutions for businesses. It supplies time-critical
passenger transport for clients ranging from airlines and train operators to
corporations and breakdown companies.
Nick Powell, director of Bolt Business, said, “The nature of business travel still remains uncertain. In
today's time, airlines and railways need to have a contingency plan in
place."
Peter Slater, chief executive officer at CMAC Group, added:
“This collaboration will significantly strengthen CMAC's ability to respond to
the needs of our clients, especially during emergencies, enabling us to utilise
Bolt’s services and expertise to provide customers with a fast, safe and seamless
solution.”
Bolt has 75 million users of its mobility services including
ride-hailing, shared cars and scooters, and food and grocery delivery.
