Mobility firm Blacklane has opened a new office in Brisbane to further assist clients in Australia and New Zealand.
The opening marks Blacklane’s fourth global office after Berlin, Singapore and the newly-opened Dubai location.
The firm currently provides services in ten Australian cities, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Darwin, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
Blacklane will hire 30 people across multiple departments, including sales and customer service. The team will also add corporate clients and travel partners in Australia and New Zealand and grow the company’s airline complimentary transfer business in the market. Blacklane currently offers the service for Emirates and Hainan Airlines passengers in 18 cities and five countries.
In addition, the office will be responsible for ‘strengthening’ Blacklane’s 24-hour multi-lingual customer service for travellers, travel managers, executive assistants, chauffeurs and airport concierges.
Four-year Blacklane veteran Tai Cerwen will lead the Brisbane team as operations manager. She was previously based in Berlin.
