Avis has this week been given an extended contract with the Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC).
The company has also been re-appointed as the sole preferred car rental supplier to Hogg Robinson Group (HRG).
Avis has worked with the GTMC for more than 25 years. It has now been given a three-year extension.

Anne Godfrey, Chief Executive at the GTMC, said the decision to extend the contract was never in doubt.
“We represent a diverse range of travel management companies and Avis is always able to tailor its service to suit the needs of each particular organization,” she said.
GTMC member HRG has also extended its contract with Avis, by two years.
Adrian Woodward, director group supplier and industry relations for HRG, said the decision to award Avis the preferred car rental partner status is the culmination of a long standing relationship.
“Over the last 18 months Avis has proven itself time and time again to be worthy of this status; extending the contract was the most appropriate decision,” he said.
Avis has been working with HRG as a preferred car rental supplier for more than 10 years, and for the past 18 months Avis has been the only car rental partner in the UK to have a contract with HRG.
Lisa Eastwood, head of business travel sales at Avis UK, said: “Our preferred status with HRG is something we certainly don’t take for granted.
“We pride ourselves on having held this position for the last 18 months and to have it extended for a further two years is testament to the hard work and commitment of our specialised business travel team.”
