Car rental company Avis Budget Group has launched its new premium service in Europe, with Avis First designed to “transform the car rental experience for discerning
travellers”.
The “concierge-style service” – which was debuted in North America earlier this year – will see travellers met at airport
arrivals by an Avis representative and escorted to a premium BMW rental car. The
service also promises “effortless returns” and a dedicated phone line.
Avis First is available to book now at three airport locations –
Rome Fiumicino, Geneva International and Zurich Kloten – with more locations to
be launched “very soon”.
Avis’ VP chief commercial officer, international, James Adams says the service is a “complete reimagining of how premium travellers begin and
end their journeys."
He added: "We listened to our customers – travellers who
value premium experiences and for whom every minute counts, as well as families
seeking effortless travel – and designed a service that delivers unparalleled
convenience and peace of mind.”
