Amadeus, the global technology and distribution solutions company, has pioneered worldwide car hire e-vouchers for National Car Rental. The new technology will offer travel agents the chance to provide e-vouchers for car rental reservations booked through Amadeus and National worldwide, rather than the country-by-country system which was previously available.
The paperless system is similar to that of airline e-ticketing, helping to cut down on paper and provide a reliable booking system that does not depend upon the customer bringing documentation to prove the booking at the car hire desk.
