U.S vice president and environmental campaigner Al Gore enhanced the green credentials of carbon neutral chauffeur company thebookingroom by using two of its Lexus hybrid cars during a recent visit to Glasgow. Al Gore, who recently released "An Inconvenient Truth," a film demonstrating the effects of global warming, was the key speaker at "What Our Future Holds - the major issues affecting our world."
The hybrid cars used during his visit have rechargeable energy systems on-board, and produce considerably lower emissions due to their smaller-sized engines. thebookingroom CEO Michael O'Hare said: "This visit highlights thebookingroom's strong focus on the environment and
