Advito, the consulting arm of travel management company BCD Travel, has launched a new consulting practice focusing on rail.
The consultancy has been launched to take advantage of a forecast increase in high-speed rail of 40 per cent by 2030 and is intended to help companies find the right mix of air and rail to optimise spend, reduce carbon emissions, and increase traveller productivity and satisfaction.
The consultancy will offer programme assessments, sourcing exercises and ongoing programme management and optimisation.
Lesley O’Bryan, senior vice president at Advito, said, “We see a real opportunity for our clients to embrace this multimodal approach and integrate more rail content into their programmes to increase their contract coverage and find real savings.
“And as more and more of our clients are adopting aggressive sustainability goals into their travel recovery strategies, this new offering will put us in a position to help corporates reduce their environmental footprint and increase their traveller satisfaction.”
