On Thursday, Jet Airways launched a "dynamic framework" for booking and cancellation fees on its domestic network. It charges higher penalties for flights booked within seven days of the travel date for the Indian carrier's economy fare brands. The fees for Premiere cabin bookings remain the same regardless of the booking window. The highest-tiered economy class Flex fare, for example, carriers a change fee of 1,500 rupees (US$21) and a cancellation fee of 2,000 rupees (US$28) when booked more than seven days from departure; the fees increase to 2,300 rupees (US$32) for changing a flight and 2,800 rupees (US$39) for cancellations when the booking is closer than a week to a departure.
