The Global Business Travel Association’s India chapter, which launched in April, has formed a 12-person advisory board:
- Amadeus India CEO Rakesh Bansal
- Etihad Airways vice president for India Neerja Bhatia
- Wipro Travel general manager Rajdev Bhattacharya
- WWstay CEO and co-Founder Rajeev Goswami
- dnata head for India Ashish Kishore
- Adobe Systems Asia/Pacific travel manager Mritunjaya Chandra Mohan
- Reliance Industries head of corporate travel Gaurav Nagwekar
- AON Asia/Pacific procurement lead Chandresh Natu
- AccorHotels vice president of sales for India Arif Patel
- Amadeus North America COO Victor Pynn, whom an Amadeus spokesperson said is "very active in GBTA" in general and has prior experience in India
- CSC Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa travel head Neal Rogers
- Aditya Birla Group administration president Subrato Sarkaar
GBTA started an India chapter and formed an advisory board in 2014, but it never took off because the association lacked a local partner and was being run from GBTA’s Asia/Pacific regional office in Bangkok, according to a GBTA spokesperson. This time, GBTA has
partnered with New Delhi-based travel management consultancy ProKonsul, whose president, Gaurav Sundaram, is India regional director for GBTA.
