Concur will offer its travel, expense and invoice solutions
to companies operating in South Korea. It will be based in the Seoul office of
parent company SAP. "The outdated expense and travel management solutions
widely deployed in [South Korea] today are not capable of providing data and
insights that help businesses make more informed decisions," said SAP
South Korea president Won Joon Hyoung. "By investing in Concur's
operations in South Korea, our goal is to lead the domestic market in travel
and expense management."
Expense transactions among Concur's current Korea customer
base increased 125 percent year over year in the fourth quarter, and the spend
Concur processed increased 113 percent.
Concur also has promoted Barry Long VP of global
sales for Asia/Pacific and named Jaesung Kim as head of sales for Concur Korea.
