Although Istanbul Ataturk Airport has resumed operations,
carriers are still allowing passengers traveling to the airport over the next
few days to change or cancel their tickets without penalty.
Turkish Airlines:
Passengers flying to or connecting through either Ataturk or Sabiha Gökçen
International Airport through July 5 may rebook or cancel without penalty if
they rebook by July 31. Passengers also must travel by July 31 to be exempt
from paying any difference in fares.
American Airlines/British
Airways: Travelers with tickets arriving at or departing from Ataturk through
July 3 may cancel or change to travel dates through July 10.
Delta Air Lines, KLM &
Air France: Travelers with tickets arriving at or departing from Ataturk
through July 5 may cancel or change their tickets without fees through July 7. They
must travel by July 12 or pay the fare difference.
Lufthansa: Tickets on any Lufthansa Group airline for
travel arriving at or departing from Istanbul through July 5 may rebook without
charge. The new travel must occur on or before Sept. 30.
