EASYJET, has published December figures showing a load factor of 77% against 79.9% for December 2001. However the numbers included the recently acquired GO, which has always had a lower passenger seat figure than easyJet. A weak business market, as noted by other carriers, had contributed to a softness in yield, according to Ray Webster, chief executive. He said the airline would show a loss for the winter quarter. The combined company flew 1.43m passengers, compared to EasyJet's 670,390 passengers in December 2001 and Go's 363,710 passengers.
