Low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced it will restart
flights between Luton airport and Russia from 15 August. Services to Moscow (Vnukovo
airport) will operate twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday, and those to St
Petersburg (Pulkovo airport) will operate on Wednesdays. The resumption of
flights comes as Russian travel restrictions ease, though passengers arriving
in the UK from Russia must self-isolate for 14 days, as the country is not
included on the list of travel corridors. Passengers who book Wizz Flex tickets
on the routes can cancel their flight up to three hours before departure
without a fee and receive a full refund of the original fare in airline credit.
They can also change dates and routes and unlimited number of times with the
ticket type.
