Low-cost carrier Wizz Air will establish its second UK base
at Doncaster Sheffield airport and will operate seven new routes in addition to
the ten already served from the Yorkshire airport.
The carrier will base one Airbus A320 at the airport to
launch new connections to Alicante, Malaga, Larnaca, Faro, Lublin, Kosice
(Slovakia) and Suceava (Romania) between 23 and 25 October.
Between Doncaster Sheffield and its existing base at Luton
airport, Wizz Air will have 11 aircraft permanently based in the UK, with 1.8
million seats being offered across 107 routes for the remainder of 2020.
