Budget carrier Wizz Air is expanding its operations at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with the addition of a new route between the Swedish capital and Skopje, North Macedonia.
The Hungary-based airline will introduce the new route on 28 October. Flights to the North Macedonian capital city will operate three times weekly throughout the winter season.
The new route will mark the carrier’s third direct connection from Arlanda.
“The new route to Skopje improves connectivity to an important region and contributes to our mission of bringing people closer together,” said Elizabeth Axtelius, director of aviation business at Swedavia, which operates Arlanda airport.
