IAG’s budget carrier Vueling is adding two new routes from London Heathrow to the northern Spain destinations of Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela.
The Spanish airline will start both new daily routes on 30 March as part of a 16 per cent increase in capacity between the UK and Spain this summer.
Jordi La Pla, chief network and strategy officer at Vueling, said, “These additions not only reinforce our commitment to offering more affordable and convenient travel options, but also highlight our dedication to enhancing connectivity between the UK and Spain.”
Vueling also plans to operate 26 weekly flights from London Gatwick to Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela this summer.
