Spanish carrier Vueling has renewed its long-standing agreement with Accelya to continue using its airRM revenue management tool to monitor pricing and revenue performance.
The Barcelona-based airline adopted the tool in 2007, which includes revenue management, inventory control and reporting capabilities, and has influenced the development of new functionalities, according to Accelya revenue management product director, Adrian Flores.
These include the recently upgraded Nego Allotment revenue management functionality, which will give the airline ‘full visualisation and control’ over this sales channel.
Vueling head of revenue management, John Harrison, said the platform has been “instrumental in helping us drive optimised pricing decisions and better react to volatile market conditions”.
Accelya’s revenue management tools are currently used by more than 80 global carriers.
