United Airlines has unveiled an expanded international network schedule from its hubs in Chicago, Denver, New York/Newark and San Francisco, which includes additional flights to and from London.
Starting 1 November, the airline will take its service between Denver, Colorado and London Heathrow to a year-round offering, with flights operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
United’s upcoming service between San Francisco and New Delhi will also be operated year-round rather than on a seasonal basis as originally planned, with flights launching on 5 December.
Beginning 28 March 2020, the carrier will launch a daily non-stop, year-round service between Chicago O’Hare and Zurich on board a Boeing 767-300ER, which features the United Polaris business-class seat.
The company will also add second daily flights to its routes from New York/Newark to Amsterdam and Frankfurt from 28 March 2020.
As previously reported, United will become the only airline to operate a non-stop service between the US and Cape Town with flights from New York/Newark due to launch on 15 December.
United announced earlier this week that it will launch routes from the US to Tokyo's Haneda airport in 2020, expanding its Japanese network.
In addition, the carrier is launching new seasonal destinations for its New York/Newark winter schedule, including Curacao (starting 7 December), Nice (beginning 2 May 2020) and Palermo (from 20 May 2020).
Lastly, United will resume its seasonal services between New York/Newark and Porto one month earlier than usual on 28 March 2020, and from New York/Newark to Athens and Naples, as well as from Washington to Barcelona, two weeks earlier on 8 May 2020.
