THOMAS COOK AIRLINES will from tomorrow (1 April) be the official name of the former JMC. Now German owned and one of the world”s major travel groups Thomas Cook has a fleet of 86 aircraft. Thomas Cook took his first overseas tour 160 years ago. The re-branding was formerly launched last Thursday in the UK by His Royal Highness the Duke of York at Manchester Airport who attended the event in his capacity as Special Representative for International Trade and Investment (and found time to talk to some of the ground and cabin staff) - see left).
