TAP Air Portugal in summer 2026 will introduce a new premium economy cabin on long-haul flights for its Airbus A330 and A321LR aircraft, the carrier announced on Wednesday (3 December).
The new cabin, located between business and economy classes, will include 12 seats in three rows of four. Each seat will be "neighbour-free," according to TAP. The premium economy tickets will come with premium check-in, priority baggage, fast-track security and priority boarding.
Onboard, the seats will offer a "premium main meal" with two hot-dish options, an amenity kit, "premium pillow" and "enhanced headphones”.
In addition, the seats will allow for flexible rebooking and refunds, according to TAP, as well as bonus miles for loyalty members. When asked the amount of bonus miles that would be awarded, the carrier said it is "not ready to disclose this just yet”.
