Swiss International Air Lines will open new Business and Senator Lounges at Zurich Airport in the first quarter of 2027, the carrier announced.
The two lounges will be located in a new building on the southern side of the airport’s Dock B and will replace the carrier’s existing lounges in Dock A.
Spanning about 2,600 square metres, the new lounges will offer 20 per cent more space than the current facilities, with additional seating, dedicated areas for work and relaxation and views of the apron, runways and surrounding Swiss Alps, according to the carrier. The lounges also will include “around 20” soundproofed workstations.
The Senator Lounge will also feature a bar with a wine humidor and a maturation room for cheeses and cured meats.
Bus gates will be located directly below the lounge building, which the carrier said will shorten the distance to boarding gates for some travellers.
As renovation works at Zurich Airport continue, Swiss plans to relocate its First and HON Circle Lounge from Dock A to Dock B in 2028, with further details to be announced “in due course”.
