SN BRUSSELS AIRLINES and Virgin Express have jointly decided NOT to renew their current code-share agreement as from 31 March 2003. From Brussels the Rome, Barcelona, Madrid and Nice services operated by Virgin Express and the Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg routes operated by SN Brussels Airlines will only be flown by SN Brussels Airlines who will continue to serve all these destinations with its own extended fleet or in partnership with other airlines. To service the new routes SN Brussels will acquire three 148-seat Airbus A319 kitted out for 132 passengers. The airline already operates 32 AVRO RJ. The BRU - LHR Virgin code share, subject of a separate agreement, became a BA partnership last weekend.
