Scandinavian Airlines is to launch four new routes to the UK: Edinburgh to Oslo and Stavanger,Leeds Bradford to Copenhagen and Aberdeen to Oslo.
SAS will begin the Leeds Bradford and Aberdeen services on March 31 2014, with the Leeds Bradford-Copenhagen route operating two days per week (Monday and Friday) and Aberdeen-Oslo on three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
The two Edinburgh routes will be summer services running between April 10 and October 5, 2014. They will operate twice per week on Thursday and Sunday.
Hans Dyhrfort, SAS’s regional general manager for western Europe, said: “Aberdeen and the north-east region of Scotland is an important hub and area of development for SAS.
“With almost three million people living within reach of the airport, Leeds Bradford and the Yorkshire region is an important hub of development for SAS.
“We are pleased to offer new summer services direct from Edinburgh to both Oslo and Stavanger and provide a direct flight to Norway, the fjords, and Scandinavia.
“For any business travellers wishing to travel during this period, we offer the convenience of direct flights to either Oslo or Stavanger, with onward flights to many other Norwegian destinations.”
Flight times on the new routes vary depending on the day of travel.
