SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System) Lounge at Heathrow airport terminal 3 has closed for extensive refurbishment, opening again at the end of February 2003. Based on Scandinavian design, the new lounge will be three times larger and feature a library, cinema, shower and relaxing facilities and entertainment zone on two floors. During the refurbishment SAS customers can use the Maple Leaf lounge of Star Alliance partner airline Air Canada at Gate 12D. The Maple Leaf lounge operates a no smoking policy.
