The UK government is looking at introducing
quarantine-free travel for fully vaccinated travellers for UK residents by 26 July,
according to a report in The Times.
The Government announced plans to allow the
fully vaccinated to return from amber-list countries without having to
self-isolate at its last review of the traffic-light system but did not give a
fixed date for the introduction of the scheme, instead saying that it would
happen “later in the summer”.
The Times reports that a deal that would allow EU
citizens to enter without quarantine is close to being signed.
