Qatar Airways will launch a daily service from Doha to Dallas/Fort Worth from July 1, 2014 – the carrier’s seventh US destination.
Flight QR733 will depart Doha at 08.10 and arrive at Dallas/Fort Worth at 16.15. Return service QR734 will take-off from Dallas/Fort Worth at 19.35 and land in Doha at 18.20 the following day.
Qatar will deploy a Boeing 777-200LR on the route. The aircraft features a two-class design with 42 business class lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, while the 217 seats in economy are in a 3-3-3 layout.
Dallas/Fort Worth will be the Gulf carrier's second Texan destination —Qatar already flies to Houston, as well as to New York, Washington DC and Chicago.
Qatar is also launching routes to Philadelphia from April 2 and to Miami from June 10, 2014.
A statement from the airline said: "We are pleased to continue enhancing our presence in the United States and are committed to providing passengers with an exceptional travel experience with Qatar Airways, as they travel on their long-haul and short-haul journeys.
"It is an exciting start to 2014 that we have announced three new American routes, and we look forward to welcoming our new and loyal passengers on board."
Membership of Oneworld will enable Qatar's passengers to fly Doha-Dallas/Fort Worth non-stop and return via Europe with British Airways and American Airlines or vice versa.
