Qatar Airways has added capacity to its Edinburgh-Doha route by switching from the B787 Dreamliner to an A350-900.
The new aircraft adds 406 seats to the route per week, with the A350-900 offering a total of 283 seats – 36 in Business class and 247 in Economy – on each daily flight.
Qatar Airways launched the route in 2014 and says it has proved to be popular, with the increased capacity announced in response to demand for more seats.
Business class seats offer passengers lie-flat beds, high-definition touch screens and dual-screen functionality. The A350 also features Onair wifi service.
