Speaking at the introduction of Omneport at Earls Court, claimed to bring ”ultra security” to the business travel sector, Gulliver Immink (pictured), chief executive of Ledma, the company behind the project said: ”One thousand British passports are lost every day. Few things are more stressful and inconvenient for the business traveller than losing vital documents or having them stolen.”
Omneport is a unique, ultra-secure, online storage facility that gives business travellers access to copies of their vital documents on the move, when they need them most.
The loss or theft of key documents including passports, tickets, insurance or medical papers and other important contact information or sensitive work-related material, presents a major risk and inconvenience to the business traveller. Omneport has therefore been designed to allow copies of all such documents to be stored electronically using military grade security measures, while keeping access straight-forward for the user.
