FLYBE, which describes itself as Europe”s largest regional airline, has introduced striking red uniforms for its 320-strong ground staff and cabin crew. The modern new look comes six months after the former British European was relaunched as flybe, combining the best practices of the low-cost carriers with the service levels of the traditional airlines. The uniform was produced in a record three months, based on a design by the airline”s Head of Cabin Services, Tricia McKern. (see the ABTN web site for a sight of the uniform)
