Manchester airport has revealed more details about the products passengers will be able to purchase at its new private terminal, PremiAir.
The terminal will open in September 2019, with passengers able to choose from a range of packages depending on their needs.
At £50 per person, the Priority package is the cheapest on offer. Passengers will be able to arrive at the airport 60 minutes prior to their flight. On arrival at PremiAir, they will receive a personal welcome, dedicated security channel and a luxury transfer across the airfield to their aircraft.
The Premium package, costing £100 per person, offers all of the above, plus access to lounge space with views of the airfield. Passengers’ hold luggage will be processed while they take advantage of complimentary food prepared by a resident chef along with beverages, alongside free wifi, newspapers and magazines.
Finally, passengers landing at Manchester airport can book the Arrivals package for £125, which includes a private transfer from the aircraft to the PremiAir terminal and a dedicated passport control channel at the airport. Customers also have access to the terminal’s lounge while their hold luggage is personally returned to them.
For those looking to use PremiAir for both their outgoing and incoming flights, the airport offers a round-trip package for £175, which includes the benefits of the Priority and Arrivals products, with further upgrades available.
Groups of between five and 50 passengers can gain access to one of PremiAir’s three private suites, which are located before the security checkpoint so non-travelling guests can join group events and meetings. Prices for suites are bespoke and available on request.
The terminal also offers professional spaces for business travellers wishing to schedule meetings while at the airport.
Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has appointed Mart Louwerse as PremiAir’s general manager. Louwerse joins from Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Nantwich, Cheshire, where he was general manager. Prior to this, he held positions at high-end hotels, including the Midland Hotel.
Louwerse commented: “This is an exciting project to be joining and it is great to see the PremiAir facility starting to be built. I am confident that passengers will be enticed by the products on offer, which we’re excited to announce today.”
Passengers can book PremiAir packages regardless of the class of travel.
