The Unite union has called off a planned week-long strike after GH London Ground Handling Services submitted a revised pay offer for staff at Luton airport.
The strike, which was due to begin on 3 March, would have affected Wizz Air flights as it contracts GH London Ground Handling Services for its baggage handling and check-in staff.
A Unite spokesperson said: “Following productive talks held today, Unite has agreed to suspend the strike action which was due to commence on Sunday. The workforce will vote on the improved pay offer in the coming days.”
