Lufthansa has opened an upgraded premium check-in area at its main base at Frankfurt Airport.
The German carrier has modernised the check-in facilities at Terminal 1, Hall A, to serve first class passengers, HON Circle members, Senators and Star Alliance Gold status customers
The check-in area includes changing rooms, high tables with charging stations and seating, as well as a separate access from the adjacent car park. The airline’s staff are also available at new service bars to assist passengers.
Francesco Sciortino, Lufthansa’s hub manager at Frankfurt, said: “With the new premium check-in area, we have created a space for our guests that combines comfort, efficiency and personalised service at the highest level. The reopening marks a milestone in the collaboration between Lufthansa and Fraport.”
In a separate move, Lufthansa has reopened its Business Lounge at Gate A13 following a “brief renovation period”. The facility can be used by business class passengers and status customers.
