Lufthansa has reopened a renovated lounge for premium passengers at London Heathrow’s Terminal 2.
The relaunched Senator and Business Lounge, which has been closed for renovation since October, is Lufthansa’s largest lounge outside its home market of Germany at 1,600 square metres and has capacity for up to 350 travellers.
The lounge, which is located close to Terminal 2’s security checkpoint, features upgraded flooring, lighting and furnishings, as well as “reimagined” workspaces with new chain curtains for added privacy.
The Business part of the lounge also includes two private phone booths with improved acoustics, while the Senator area features redesigned workspaces and enhanced seating.
Other facilities include buffet food, newspapers, wifi, printer, photocopier, TV, lockers and views of the runway.
Sven Thaler, Lufthansa’s senior director sales for Northern Europe, said: “As the second largest airline group at Heathrow with more than 360 weekly Lufthansa Group flights, we are committed to investing in our premium customer experience and our long-term presence in Heathrow Terminal 2.”
The renovated Lufthansa lounge at Heathrow is now open daily from 4.15am to 10pm.
