London Heathrow has upgraded its private terminal for VIP travellers, which has been rebranded as The Windsor by Heathrow.
The renovated terminal, formerly known as The Windsor Suite, is only available for first and business class passengers. It now features an upgraded atrium and lounges, alongside artworks from Banksy and Andy Warhol, which can be purchased by guests using a QR code.
The Windsor provides a private chauffeur service using an electric BMW from the private terminal to the aircraft steps, as well as a personalised butler service, dishes from Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton and personal shopper option. Guests also benefit from a dedicated Border Force officer to handle immigration formalities.
The private terminal is used by 50,000 guests per year, including world leaders and celebrities, with its top destinations being Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, Los Angeles and New York. Prices start at £3,812 plus 20 per cent VAT for up to three guests.
Charlotte Burns, VIP lead at Heathrow, said: “From the moment you step out of your front door, to the second you board your plane, we ensure that every detail is taken care of – making your journey seamless, relaxing and unforgettable.”
