Details remain sketchy, but an airport spokeswoman confirmed that Air France BAe146-200 (flight AF 5020), operated by CityJet from Paris Orly, burst its tyres on landing at 0835 this morning on the easterly runway. All 55 passengers and five crew were taken safely to the terminal.
The airfield was initially open to departing aircraft only as the limited apron space was filled with existing traffic, but an airport statement confirmed that full operations were resumed at 1705.
The disabled aircraft was recovered and removed from the runway at 1704, following which the airport operations team carried out a runway inspection.
